First trip to the Dentist!

First trip to the Dentist for Riley, I should say! Taylor was at the dentist a few months ago when she crashed, tooth first, into the coffee table! Today though, it was Mommy, Daddy and Riley's turn!

Riley was such a good patient! And she got a gold star bill of health from the dentist for her teeth! However, we did find out she has an extra tooth, which means an extra visit from the tooth fairy, yipee! I told the dentist she had a tooth that grew in kind of pointy, and the dentist said it was  because it was an extra one!

Today was another school day. The first week went very well, and we are on week 2 now. Today we learned the letter T. To help learn the sounds we use a shoe organizer with the letter on it, and inside the pocket we put things that start with that letter. We put in a tea bag, toothbrush, teddy bear and tomato, yes a plastic play food tomato! After that she decided that we should put Tango in there, so we tried....

He was too big!

And in case you were wondering what Taylor does during school, here you go....

She loves putting on her backpack and walking Foxy to school!
I'm looking forward to another school day tomorrow, Foxy however, is not :(

  1. The clean bill of health for her teeth is great news indeed. Now all she has to do is follow her usual routine to keep them healthy all throughout. As for the extra tooth, just make sure to monitor it, should it decide to push out at an odd angle and cause her discomfort in the long run. Have a good day!

  2. All smiles and camera ready, huh? It goes without saying that her first visit turned out for the best. I hope all her dental trips will always be like this. You’re doing a good job in raising her awareness to the importance of dental health. Keep it up!

  3. That's really pleasant. I bet Riley has kept on her visits to the dentist, since it looked like her first visit set her off on the right path. What better way to do that but to make the dental service work at the beginning, right? I think it's all about accessing the right dentist, after all.
