It was our second day all on our own and I decided to venture beyond the house! At first we were only going to the post office, but that went well, so then we headed to the playground. And then that went well, so we headed for ice cream!
There was a whole playground there to be played on, but what did these girls do? They filled their basket up with rocks to bring home and paint. These gals love rocks! Ever since Riley was little my car has been filled with rocks that she finds everywhere and wants to bring home. Now Taylor does it too! They don't need toys, just rocks!
Taylor had so many rocks she couldn't even pick up the basket. She's dragging it to the car!
We also have a very sweet neighbor next door that let us come over to her house and pick blueberries. The girls loved it.
This one never put one blueberry in the basket though, she just kept eating them! She loves blueberries!
I wanted to make something yummy for our neighbor for letting us pick all these blueberries, and so Riley wanted to make something for Daddy. She spent a long time getting out the bread and nutella and making him a HUGE sandwich of nutella, blueberries and bananas! And then she ate one piece of the bread!
The girls have been so helpful with their baby brother. And they've been so patient while we've been a little trapped at the house, until I work up the nerve to brave things like the store on my own!
