My budding photographer and model

Riley loves to get a hold of the camera on my phone. Typically I will find about 300 pictures on there afterwards of all kinds of random things around the house. However, the other day I found these. Riley had asked to borrow my camera, then pulled a chair over to the wall, went and got her little sister and began telling her how to pose for the pictures. It was pretty funny and here are the results of their photo shoot.

The silly pose...

The serious pose....

This next one might be my favorite...

The "I'm cute" pose....

The time out chair pose....

The "check out my muscles pose"

This makes me laugh, as it is proof that little siblings will do whatever their big siblings tell them to do!

I'm not sure if she's trying to use a little bit of sign language in this picture, for those of you who know what this might mean...... :)

The serious pose......

The "what did you say" pose....

The "I find myself very funny" pose.....

The "you talkin to me" pose...

Then the cats were added as a new prop.

And finally, this is all it how ended. I have no idea how it ended this way, and I don't want to know.......

Love them!!!

Gobble, Gobble!

We had an awesome Thanksgiving surrounded by family and friends! I love this picture above of my little turkey's! I took a lot of pictures, but then realized all of them included other family members, whom I did not ask for permission to post on this blog, so this is one of the only shots with just us in it!

Riley and Taylor had so much fun with all of their cousins. They don't get to see everyone very often, so it was really nice to have them all together. They also loved the family dogs that were running around, big surprise!

While we were in a "big city" we took advantage and spent a day at an aquarium. We all had a blast! Riley loved the penguins, but there were also lots of sharks, sting rays and one really cool hippo that was playing with us by the glass window!

It was a great trip, and the girls were sad to leave. Great memories were made though, and these were some tired turkey's when we arrived home! Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Homemade crayons and Halloween

It's been awhile since I've written last! The other day we decided to make homemade crayons out of all of our broken crayons we have around the house. The girls loved it! They loved peeling the paper off of the old crayons and this kept them busy for a good hour, and quiet I might add!

Riley made a snowman crayon.

And a heart.

Taylor made a Christmas tree, but we didn't get a picture as she broke it before we even started coloring!

Riley also got a hold of my phone again, so I found some more of her lovely pictures....

Oh my goodness, is she funny or what? She cracks me up!

She also has been going to a children's church program on Sundays. They earn points and can redeem them for prizes, this is what she picked...

Taylor enjoyed them too!

And finally I'm getting around to posting their Halloween costume pictures. Riley is a cute little kitty cat and Taylor is a strawberry! They had a blast this year collecting all of their treats!

Pretty cute Halloweenies right there!
