Skiing and Snowboarding!

Today we took the girls skiing for the first time. Taylor went on ski's, but Riley and Shelby wanted to try snowboarding. They all did so well, and had a blast! I was impressed!

Here's Riley on the snowboard for the first time!

Silly Riley...

Here's the crew getting ready for our first trip down the mountain!

Daddy and Taylor! Daddy was such a good sport, pushing Taylor all over the
snow, while she begged him to go faster! He got quite a work out!

The older gals with their snowboards.

And Taylor on her ski's!

It was a fun day, but we are all pretty tired, time to hit the hay!

Sweet Valentines

It's been awhile once again, but we have been pretty sick over here! Taylor is on her second round of Prednizone to help get her asthma under control. We've been getting cold after cold and her little lungs are having a hard time staying clear. We just finished the second round though, and her asthma doctor made some changes to her daily medicines, so hopefully that will help! In the meantime we have been hibernating in our house trying to get well! But, we did have a fun Valentines Day!

Here is Riley with some glasses Grammy sent her, which of course, she also had to put on Whiskey.....

And Daddy....

And Mommy...yes that is me, extreme close-up taken by Riley!

These were the girls presents they woke up to on Valentines Day. They have been begging for those bright light pillows, so they each got one, a new book, a new lalaloopsy and new socks!

And of course, Resse's Peanut Butter Hearts, yum!

Here's Riley enjoying her presents! Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of Taylor enjoying hers. With the way she was feeling, she wasn't enjoying much of anything yesterday! But, she is doing better today, please keep her in your prayers that they can get this asthma and medications under control, thank you!!

Happy Valentines Day everyone!

Disney on Ice

We took the girls to see Disney on Ice this weekend, and they LOVED it! I was actually quite impressed myself, and overall we had a great time!

Okay Daddy, that's enough pictures, just let me watch the show!

We got to our hotel early the night before the show, and the girls and I were SUPER excited to have time to fit in a trip to Target and McDonald's!! It was one of our most exciting days in awhile!! So much fun!

Loose tooth!

Riley has her first loose tooth! It has been quite traumatic as she says it hurts, but mostly I just think she's scared. She won't drink out of anything without a straw, and we had quite the meltdown last night when it was time to brush her teeth! Hopefully this tooth will wiggle it's way out soon. The new tooth is already coming in behind it, so it shouldn't be too long I hope!

It's hard to tell in the picture, it's the bottom tooth, it's just barely sticking forward in this picture. Exciting times!

Ice skating is not our thing!

I like to think of myself as pretty athletic. But, yesterday's trip to the ice skating rink proved otherwise! In my defense, the skates to choose from were VERY old, and I couldn't find my size, so I just went with a big pair of men's skates! I have ice skated before without too much trouble, but this time I could not even walk out onto the ice!

It took me about 10 minutes to make it from that little blue shed behind me, to the wall to get into the ice rink. Riley could not make it, so she crawled her way into the rink! Taylor got carried by Daddy to the rink, and managed to stand up the whole time!

So I made it to the door, but then started sliding backward and could not get in!

Still trying to get in the door!

Okay, one foot is in! Riley fell down!

Okay, I'm in, but not able to let go of the wall at all...

Even when one of my loved ones needed me....

That's enough, we're going to crawl our way back to the shed!

On the way home I decided to take some of my aggression out with my early Valentines Day present from my hubby....my very first pistol!

And this last picture does not fit into any of the above stories, except that I found this at the store, and my hubby rolled his eyes at spending $3 on this thing, but Taylor loves to eat her hot dogs out of it! So cute!!!

That is all for now from the frozen tundra!

Cutie Pies!

Silly little girl! She got these sunglesses off of her Build A Bear and proceeded to wear them during prayers and her bedtime story! She cracks me up!

And here is Riley Roo with her horse Butterscotch, that she got from Grammy and Poppy for Christmas. She loves this horse, well she loves EVERY horse, but this one is actually in her house!

It's so nice to have everyone back on the healthy list once again!

I'm baaaaaack!

I had to take my computer in to be fixed, and I am finally back online and able to post pictures! I have  a lot of catching up to do, too much in fact, so I'll just post some cute pics and then pick back up on the daily things soon!

Here is my littlest princess! She got this tiara from her Auntie Rosanne, and the earrings! She loved them!

Love this little mug!!

And love this big mug too....

When princess things are happening Daddy has to be in on the action too! The girls always make sure of it!

We have to have the strangest pets ever! Our dog spoons with our cats at night!

And this is so sweet! This is Taylor taking her nebulizer. She was chilly, so she wanted to do it by the fire and Tango came over and laid with her the whole time. So sweet!

There isn't really too much to catch up on. After I dropped off my computer to be fixed, we all came down with a nasty cold! Well, not all of us, it wiped out poor Taylor, and me too, but Riley never got sick, and Chris just got a touch of it. I spent about 2 days in bed with this nasty cold, and poor Taylor ended up at the ER because the cold and coughing kept triggering asthma attacks for her! She ended up on Prednisone (not sure if I'm spelling that right), and was all better within a few days, but that was nasty and I'm glad it's behind us! I will write more soon and try to get back on track!
