I'm baaaaaack!

I had to take my computer in to be fixed, and I am finally back online and able to post pictures! I have  a lot of catching up to do, too much in fact, so I'll just post some cute pics and then pick back up on the daily things soon!

Here is my littlest princess! She got this tiara from her Auntie Rosanne, and the earrings! She loved them!

Love this little mug!!

And love this big mug too....

When princess things are happening Daddy has to be in on the action too! The girls always make sure of it!

We have to have the strangest pets ever! Our dog spoons with our cats at night!

And this is so sweet! This is Taylor taking her nebulizer. She was chilly, so she wanted to do it by the fire and Tango came over and laid with her the whole time. So sweet!

There isn't really too much to catch up on. After I dropped off my computer to be fixed, we all came down with a nasty cold! Well, not all of us, it wiped out poor Taylor, and me too, but Riley never got sick, and Chris just got a touch of it. I spent about 2 days in bed with this nasty cold, and poor Taylor ended up at the ER because the cold and coughing kept triggering asthma attacks for her! She ended up on Prednisone (not sure if I'm spelling that right), and was all better within a few days, but that was nasty and I'm glad it's behind us! I will write more soon and try to get back on track!

It's been awhile....

Sorry I have not posted in awhile! The truth is I got locked out of my blog! I had to create a new email address with this blog and I could NOT remember the log in info at all! Thank you to my wonderful hubby who saved the day, by saving an email I had sent him from the blog when I started it, so I could recover the forgotten email log in info and get back in here!

And now for some reason I can not post any pictures!! I'm working on the problem and will hopefully be up and running again soon!

This is normal, right?

I'm sure every mom has started to decorate the Christmas tree, walked into another room, and walked back in to find this.......

right???

Yes, they are trying to lick the candy ornaments that we made!

But, when it was all done, and they stopped licking the ornaments, it turned out like this....

Merry Christmas!!

Hunting again, this time for a Christmas tree!

So we set off to find a Christmas tree, and since we live in Maine, we just walked out our back door to go find a tree! It was also the end of hunting season, but we didn't want to take any chances so we all "oranged" it up!

It was pretty chilly this day, but the girls were good sports as always and had so much fun! They pointed to EVERY tree suggesting it be our Christmas tree!

Here we are trekking through the woods to check out some really good trees!

We spotted some good ones, but didn't cut any down this day. This trip was just a recon trip!

My budding photographer and model

Riley loves to get a hold of the camera on my phone. Typically I will find about 300 pictures on there afterwards of all kinds of random things around the house. However, the other day I found these. Riley had asked to borrow my camera, then pulled a chair over to the wall, went and got her little sister and began telling her how to pose for the pictures. It was pretty funny and here are the results of their photo shoot.

The silly pose...

The serious pose....

This next one might be my favorite...

The "I'm cute" pose....

The time out chair pose....

The "check out my muscles pose"

This makes me laugh, as it is proof that little siblings will do whatever their big siblings tell them to do!

I'm not sure if she's trying to use a little bit of sign language in this picture, for those of you who know what this might mean...... :)

The serious pose......

The "what did you say" pose....

The "I find myself very funny" pose.....

The "you talkin to me" pose...

Then the cats were added as a new prop.

And finally, this is all it how ended. I have no idea how it ended this way, and I don't want to know.......

Love them!!!

Gobble, Gobble!

We had an awesome Thanksgiving surrounded by family and friends! I love this picture above of my little turkey's! I took a lot of pictures, but then realized all of them included other family members, whom I did not ask for permission to post on this blog, so this is one of the only shots with just us in it!

Riley and Taylor had so much fun with all of their cousins. They don't get to see everyone very often, so it was really nice to have them all together. They also loved the family dogs that were running around, big surprise!

While we were in a "big city" we took advantage and spent a day at an aquarium. We all had a blast! Riley loved the penguins, but there were also lots of sharks, sting rays and one really cool hippo that was playing with us by the glass window!

It was a great trip, and the girls were sad to leave. Great memories were made though, and these were some tired turkey's when we arrived home! Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Homemade crayons and Halloween

It's been awhile since I've written last! The other day we decided to make homemade crayons out of all of our broken crayons we have around the house. The girls loved it! They loved peeling the paper off of the old crayons and this kept them busy for a good hour, and quiet I might add!

Riley made a snowman crayon.

And a heart.

Taylor made a Christmas tree, but we didn't get a picture as she broke it before we even started coloring!

Riley also got a hold of my phone again, so I found some more of her lovely pictures....

Oh my goodness, is she funny or what? She cracks me up!

She also has been going to a children's church program on Sundays. They earn points and can redeem them for prizes, this is what she picked...

Taylor enjoyed them too!

And finally I'm getting around to posting their Halloween costume pictures. Riley is a cute little kitty cat and Taylor is a strawberry! They had a blast this year collecting all of their treats!

Pretty cute Halloweenies right there!
