Happy Birthday Riley!

Today was Riley's 5th Birthday! How 5 years have already gone by is beyond me! We had a lot of fun today celebrating!

First, we did what all normal people do on a birthday...we drove 75 miles to go to Walmart, McDonalds, and bowling!

Originally, we were supposed to go horse back riding, but seeing as we live in Maine, we had a nasty snow storm and her lesson got cancelled, AGAIN! So, in an effort to not disappoint, we decided to brave the storm and make the trip anyway. I'm glad we did, the trip down was fine, the trip home was pretty snowy, but Riley had a blast and that's what mattered today!

We started off with our trip to Walmart, where Riley was told she could pick out any gift she wanted! She was so excited because she said she could pick out something "expensive." :)

This is the birthday girl at McDonald's, with her blue hair extension that came in her happy meal....since when did this become a toy for a kids happy meal? I'm getting old! But, she loved it!

Then we hit the bowling alley! This was the first time the girls had been bowling and they had a great time!

Look at that form, she's a natural!

Taylor perfected the rolling the technique.

And then we would sit and watch for about an hour as the ball slowly made it's trek down to just barely knock over a pin!

It was a fun day and the birthday girl was too pooped to enjoy the snowy drive back home!

Happy birthday to the most amazing little girl! She keeps me on my toes and a smile in my heart!

Back, again!

Well it's been a long time once again because I continued to have computer issues, but now all seems to be well again, so time to catch up with a few pictures!

As most people have already heard, we are excited (and shocked) to say we are having a BOY!! He is due July 10th, which I feel is sneaking up on me closer and closer! I am so excited, and it will be so different to have a little boy running around, exciting times!

This picture is to prove that we still have TONS of snow! I mean, ridiculous amounts that I'm afraid will still be here in July! Although, this week we've been having a heat wave...sunshine and in the 40's, woo hoo!!

By the way, I am wearing Chris's snow pants because mine no longer fit around this belly!

And this is one from today. The girls wanted to have a tea party with Daddy. It's hard to tell in the picture, but Riley made Daddy a King's crown out of duct tape and a tissue! Daddy wore it with pride, even though he said this is one kingdom where the King has no power!

Gosh, those girls are little clones, huh??? They look just like their Daddy! Maybe the boy will look like me :)

As long as my computer keeps going strong I'll keep posting new pictures and updates! Thanks for reading!
